Pond Design and Layout

A well designed pond can be aesthetically pleasing, while adding diversity to the landscape. Ponds can also provide increased diversity for wildlife of all types, particularly aquatic species, from reptiles and amphibians to macro and micro invertebrates.  Pond dimensions and design vary considerably as no two sites are the same in topography, slope, plant species, and hydrology.

We have assisted numerous landowners with wetland permitting and pond design.  Below are some examples of ponds that we have designed.
