N.H. Audubon

A nonprofit organization which is dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and habitat throughout the state on NH. The mission of New Hampshire Audubon is to protect New Hampshire’s natural environment for wildlife and for people.

NH DES Wetlands Bureau

                                       A state regulatory agency which has jurisdiction over wetlands throughout NH. The website contains information on the rules for impacting wetlands, informative publications, and wetland permit application forms.

New England Wildflower Society

                    The mission of the New                            England Wild Flower Society                     is to promote the conservation                     of temperate North American flora through education, research, horticulture, habitat preservation, and advocacy.

 

                          North Country Council

                          Founded in 1973, North                            Country Council is a                                  nonprofit regional planning                           agency serving 51 communities and 25 unincorporated places in the northern third of New Hampshire.

                                       Forest Guild

                                       The Forest Guild is a                                        professional organization of forest stewards, associated natural resource professionals, and affiliates who work to restore and sustain the integrity of forests while meeting the needs of the communities that rely on them. The Guild is a  national organization with regional projects and programs across the country.

NH Timberland Owners Association

The NHTOA is a non-profit statewide coalition of landowners, forest industry professionals, government officials, and supporters who work together to promote better forest management, conserve our working forests, and ensure a strong forest products industry.

 

The US Fish and Wildlife Service

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's mission is, working with others, to conserve,

protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. We are the only agency of the U.S. Government with that primary mission.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is in the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The NRCS is a technical agency that provides trained soil conservationists, technicians, soil scientists, agronomists, engineers, economists, biologists, foresters and other experts to help landowners and land users with conservation.
